ostrich

i die for this ostrich feather chandelier from south african designer haldane martin. but since i don't have an extra $3,000 lying around i'm thinking i should buy some ostrich feathers and try my hand at this project. at ostrich.com i can buy 1,800 feathers for $450. i think that is probably enough feathers to make a feather chandelier for each room in the house.

i have a very intense fear of guns - i can't even look at them on tv, but when i saw these felt guns from sarah applebaum they made me so happy. i'm dying to see them in person.
