pat

last weekend i convinced my friend c to get all kinds of crafty with me. we started our adventure with pat the reindeer. pat quickly turned into a crafty catastrophe, but after hours of cutting, gluing and lots of macgyvering, pat came to life and she turned out to be one cute reindeer. then, as if creating pat wasn't tedious and time consuming enough, i convinced c to help me string loose sequins on the thinnest of threads so i could wrap some test presents. turns out, i really love the way sequins look on presents, but i don't like how much time it takes. sorry family, you will be receiving gifts with my traditional kraft paper with white or black grosgrain again this year.

more rings

a few more rings from last nights online shopping. how amazing is this loved ring? i love how subtle the note is, like you and whoever gave it to you are in on a little secret. it reminds me of my lizzie scheck necklace which i still adore.

{ stacked with your initials.. how cute! }

dainty rings

it's no secret that i have a love affair with dainty rings. while i usually spend late nights reading paper or design blogs, i have spent the last few evenings online shopping for jewelry. good thing christmas is just around the corner...

headboards

for months i have been searching for new bedding to make our bedroom a little more exciting than the beige abyss it has become. i love everything at dwell studio, but with the dogs constantly sneaking their way into the bed at night, i hate to spend a lot on bedding they will quickly ruin. enter fun, patterned headboards. recovering my headboard (currently beige, of course) will make such a statement and if i can find some affordable fabric it is sure to be cheaper than the options i have found at dwell.

fall

i'm not a big halloween fan, but i am so into my pumpkins this year. i love stripes and imperfections of the gourds next to the glam of the gold spray paint.
